An open competition for a new area of residential housing in Stockton on Tees

Gresford Architects were runners-up in a competition to design 250 new houses on the banks of the River Tees. The design proposed a series of communal garden spaces with terraced semi-detached houses enclosing them. The houses were to be constructed using modern off-site manufacture, and would take advantage of the flexibility of these systems to allow future expansion.
